Welcome to the Multi-Disciplinary Training Programme on Supporting Changing Families

Five organisations with an impressive record of delivering training together have developed this training programme designed to meet the needs of professionals who work with families.

'For Scotland's Children' an Action Plan from the Scottish Executive in 2001 expressed concern that there were "no staff currently specifically trained to work with families."

This training comprehensively addresses that need in the area of changing families.

The training is designed for use in multi-disciplinary groups, and is intended for all staff who work at a range of levels with children and families in the social work, health and education fields.

The training organisations share common values which are reflected in the manner of training.

Our trainers are skilled and experienced in this field and benefit from the combined expertise of the consortium.
